Water Withdrawal

The Municipality of North Cowichan’s South End water supply system is fed from wells which pump from the aquifer adjacent to the Cowichan River.  The South End water system has over 6,000 connections, serving approximately 14,452 people.

The green lines on the graph show the 2015 – 2019 weekly water use for the South End water system.  The blue line and shaded area shows the weekly water use to date for 2020. The graph is automatically updated as new data are entered by the Municipality of North Cowichan.
